Beyond – in the spring of 2012 I had the opportunity to visit China. While we went to a lot of places, the highlight of the trip was The Great Wall of China. Both of the images on this post show beyond to me.
The top image shows the a great distance of the wall, many mountains in the background, and if you know about the Wall, it goes on for miles and miles! We were only one section of a, depending on what you read, 10,000 miles span of the historical Northern border of China.
The bottom image are some of the kids that was on the trip. They were flying up the wall, which was quite steep in some sections with uneven steps. We’re used to steps being the same height, well that was on the case on the wall. Sometimes a step was 4 inches and sometimes it was 10 inches. It was quite difficult and time-consuming to navigate! But a great experience!
